Thomas W. Camm was a
hairdresser and professor of wig making at 60-1/2
Westminister Street in Providence in 1845. He also
sold English perfumes, combs, brushes, German
cologne, toilet powders, and like items. He
manufactured his own Camm's Spanish Lustral Hair
Preservative used for promoting the growth and
beautification of the hair.

After moving several times to
different locations, Camm passed away in 1877. His
wife took over the business, which was then located
at 46 Westminister Street, and ran it until her
death in 1883.
