Nicholas Molter became
involved in the brewery business in 1868. In 1877
he took in Henry H. Oehm as a partner, becoming
Molter & Oehm, proprietors of the What Cheer
Lager Brewery which was located near Niantic Avenue
in Cranston. The offices for the business were
located in Providence at 115-117 Pine
